Circle games give toddlers and preschoolers the opportunity to play with you or with other friends. Children will enjoy repeating the song and actions again and again!
Ring around the rosie, a pocket full of posies,
Hush-a, hush-a, we all fall down!
The cows are in the meadow, eating buttercups,
Hush-a, hush-a, we all stand up!
Instructions:
This game can be played just with partners, or a small group of friends can join hands and form a circle. For the first line of the song, move together in the same direction. On the second line, crouch down together. On the third line, pretend to eat buttercups. On the last line, stand up together, join hands again, and repeat the song and actions.
