A Win for Team Invest in Kids
Thank you to all those who came out to support Invest in Kids on Sunday, September 28, 2008 in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon, Half-Marathon and 5k run/walk! The course was flat and fast, the atmosphere was festive, and the clouds gave way to sunny skies and a great day for racing. Not even the early start time could dampen the spirits of Team Invest in Kids as more than 30 runners/walkers took to the starting line at Nathan Phillips Square.
A special thank you also goes out to those who donated to Team Invest in Kids or one of our runners/walkers. You’re generous support will aid Invest in Kids in our mission to help parents become the parents they want to be.
Your generosity helped Team Invest in Kids improve on our fundraising efforts from 2007, with a grand total of over $25,000 raised!
