Battle of the Brains® is the black tie gala with a unique twist. Over 50 teams comprised of Canada’s corporate elite came together on Thursday, April 19th 2007 at the CBC Broadcasting Centre to compete in a rousing battle of wits.
The 14th Annual Battle of the Brains® started with the Ernst & Young Cocktail Reception followed by a sumptuous dinner. Then the fun really began! Evan Solomon from CBC joined us again this year as our host and lead us through a range of categories from arts to sports, current affairs to fashion, geography to pop culture. Accuracy and speed count as tables competed to answer knowledge testing questions. The evening and the coveted Battle Cup belonged to RBC Capital Markets, previous champions from 2005. Congratulations to all who participated - you are all winners to us! Our sincere thanks to all those who attended and supported our 2007 Battle of the Brains® gala. Your support helped Invest in Kids raise over $500,000 to help us to continue to provide parents with the support they need to become the parents they want and need to be, and to give Canada’s youngest children the best possible start. Plans are already underway for Battle of the Brains® 2008 and we look forward to having your support again next year.
