Parenting Program
The Parenting Program or Parenting Initiative is currently in development. This developmental phase is a 5-year project to develop, test and plan the dissemination of a comprehensive program to prepare and educate first-time parents to acquire the knowledge, skills and confidence about child development and parenting that they need to effectively fulfill their parenting role. When implemented, the program will begin during parents' last trimester of pregnancy and continue until their child reaches his/her second birthday.
